The story

Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, the Dales' own three peaks, traced as a fine engraved line round the band.

Where the National ring carries a cast, sculpted ridge, this profile is cut close to the surface. Run a thumb over it and the line reads more as a mark than as relief. The slopes carry a soft texture and the interior is finished smooth.

It is the quietest ring in the series, and the one that disappears most easily under a shirt cuff.
